Glowing in the dark: an exhibition of giant Chinese lanterns starts in Odessa
Since June 25, an exhibition has returned to Odessa, conquering the hearts of millions of Ukrainians. Visitors will be able to see giant handmade figures made of natural silk and LED lamps. In total, more than 30 light installations up to three meters in height will be presented, including: a terracotta army and the Great Wall of China, Sichuan Opera, characters from ancient Chinese tales and legends, a Chinese zoo, pandas and flamingos, avenue of lovers, a Chinese zoo and residents of the underwater of the world.
“We planned to show the exhibition back in March, but quarantine made adjustments to our plans. Now we have the opportunity to dilute the leisure of Ukrainians with such a pleasant event. You will be able to see a real town of lights with thematic installations, take vivid photos with giant light figures and spend an amazing time with family and friends, ”says Denis Pogorelko, organizer of the exhibition, head of the Grand Event company.
The exhibition runs until August 30th. The organizers warn that certain restrictions related to quarantine will apply in the park. In particular, visitors will be allowed into the park only in a protective mask, and the number of visitors simultaneously located in the park will also be monitored.
