Performance installation TRAVELERS. Peter Kyle Dance / USA.
Measurements. Textures. Lines. Sections. Angles. The difference of textures and colors. What does our world consist of? From objects and feelings. With knowledge and vision. With expectations and reality. From the paths from oneself to oneself. Performance Travelers focuses on the interaction of body and space. Two dancers wander the desert terrain, sometimes bumping into human-like sculptures made of folded paper or mirrored mosaic tiles. This performance is a game with texture, because all the materials used are different in density, shape and color, each of them reflects or absorbs light. Working with them, performers take a certain form, change the rhythm of existence, reflect or absorb light, too.
Mixing performative art and installation, empiricism and plastic art, performers engage in dialogue with the audience in a universal language. Freedom of the traveler - knowledge of the language, and the body is that universal language.
