About event

Why go to the play Fat Pig?

1. Statement of choice, humanity and kindness
2. Learn to be individual and tolerant
3. Find out what will be the final decision of the protagonist

Is it easy to love? To love a person who likes a lot - yes. And if the love object does not fit into the generally accepted framework of beauty standards? If you need each time to defend themselves from the mockery of others or hide from their sympathetic views? This is more difficult.

When Tom met Ellen, he didn’t even know how difficult it would be for him in the future. Suddenly, in contrast to his feelings for his beloved, the scales were serious, the opinions of people whom he disliked and, in general, did not greatly respect.

But the author himself says the best about the play: “In“ Fat Pig, ”I see myself. This story is about human weakness and the incredible difficulties that many of us face when trying to live, protect, preserve what they believe. And this is all I am - good intentions and surprisingly pathetic attempts to save face when it comes to business. Heroism is a difficult thing. ”

Will Tom endure the test that brought him love for an extraordinary, “non-standard” woman, or will he “succumb to the simple desire to like and fit into the dance of life”? The viewer will know about this only in the last minutes of the performance.
