Have you ever been to Sweden? Even if not, you should definitely know that the capital of Sweden is the cozy city of Stockholm. In the very center of Stockholm there is an extraordinary park called "Skansen" and there are a lot of squirrels living in this park. They are cute and funny animals, but they have slimy tails because they don't eat enough. "How so? They are probably fed by tourists" - you will think and you will be right. But the squirrels in the Skansen park have a terrible memory: they hide nuts and then forget where they buried them, which is why they starve.
The main character of this play, who does not forget anything, likes to watch these squirrels. Throughout the 20th century, she learned to love and let go of those she loved, learned to accept herself and others. Someone perceived her, and someone simply did not notice that she existed. Her life seems small and insignificant in the scale of the events of the whole century, but is it possible for someone's life to be unimportant?
Her life is a sentimental, cozy, cheerful and moving story lasting 100 years. She searched for a long time to whom to entrust her secrets. She was looking for someone who could understand her, someone who could tell her story in the theater. This "someone" turned out to be director Stas Zhirkov, who one day while feeding a squirrel in the Mariinsky Park, suddenly realized that it was time for the world to learn about the Squirrel, who lived for a whole century.
She will speak to you from the stage of the Golden Gate Theater in the voice of Vitalina Bible, using her sense of humor and imagination. So how? Are you ready to hear the incredible story of one small and insignificant squirrel who lived for a hundred years?
