The Academic Ensemble of Ukrainian Music, Song and Dance "Chaika" was created in 2008 at the Odessa Regional Philharmonic named after David Oistrakh. The founders of the collective are Honored Artist of Ukraine Yuriy Saakyants and Honored Artist of Ukraine Dmytro Prytula.
