The 36th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship has been postponed to November 26-29; information on the participation of spectators is expected to appear no earlier than autumn.
The new dates of the 36th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships have been released. The event is going to be held from the 26th to the 29th of November 2020. The decision was made by the European Gymnastics, supported by the firm intention of the Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation to hold the Championships.
Competitions format remains the same as previously planned, including Olympic qualification places.
The decision was made in the light of the current situation with the COVID-19 spread in Ukraine and other European countries.
At the moment, the Local Organizing Committee are working on different possible scenarios of holding the 36th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Kyiv.
Detailed information about the format of the competition, the anti-epidemic measures, as well as the possibility of holding the Championship with the participation of spectators, will be published no earlier than autumn.
The entry tickets that have been bought for the 21st-24th of May remain valid at the moment.
As reported before, the 36th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships had been planned to take place in Kyiv on the 21st-24th of May, but was postponed due to COVID-19 spread.
