On New Year's Eve, Marco Concert invites you to New Year's Eve jazz. On 29 and 30 December Ruslan Egorov Quartet and Moon'que String Quartet will perform the program Christmas Jazz Songs.

Ruslan Egorov's quartet united the best jazz musicians of Ukraine. Remaining true to tradition, they arrange classical jazz pieces for their original performance. The team also creates author's music. In 2017, their first album, Once in Chestnut Town, was released. And by the New Year the collective prepared a real gift for the jazz fans - their second solo album with the symbolic name "Сhristmas Songs" was released. The presentation of the album will take place within the framework of the program "Christmas Jazz Songs" on December 29 and 30 in the House of Architect.

Each of the members of the quartet is a unique musician with a rich history and record of service:

Ruslan Egorov (keyboards, vocals) is a participant of numerous jazz projects, performed at the Dodge festival contest (nomination "Best jazz vocal"), Alfa Jazz, Chernigiv Jazz Open.

Dmitry "Bobin" Alexandrov (tenor saxophone, alto saxophone, soprano) - played with many Ukrainian and foreign jazzmen, among them Randy Brecker, Curtis Fuller, Gregory Porter, Mark Soskin.

Nikolai Kistenev (double bass, bass guitar) - in addition to Ruslan's quartet Egorova works in musical groups of Pianoboy Dmitry Shurov, Urban Gypsy, the project of Ivan Dorn dornabanda and the duet Anna-Maria.

Pavel Galitsky (drums) - during his career Pavel played in three dozen projects together with Ukrainian and foreign jazzmen, participated in the festivals Alfa Jazz Fest, Jazz In Kiev, Koktebel Jazz Fest.

Together with Ruslan Egorov's Quartet, the string quartet Moon'que will perform on stage, which has united the talented strings of Ukraine. The team is not afraid of experiments with styles - in their repertoire there are classical works of the Baroque era, and cover versions of famous compositions in the author's arrangement.

Moon'que includes:

Anna Frolova (violin) is a graduate of the Kiev Conservatory and laureate of international competitions. Works in the National Chamber Orchestra of Ukraine. During her career she managed to work with outstanding conductors, including Dmitry Yablonsky and Farhad Badalbeyli.

Evgeny Sukhovoy (violin) - in the asset of Eugene the diploma of the Kiev Conservatory, a number of awards of international competitions, cooperation with many Ukrainian artists (the group "Okean Elzy", Tina Karol, Sergey Babkin and others), and participation in the project "Golos". Works in the chamber orchestra "Virtuosos of Kiev"

Katerina Suprun (alt) is a graduate of the Kiev Conservatoire, laureate of the Lev Revutsky National Prize and soloist of the National Soloists Ensemble "Kyiv Camerata". Cooperates with the ensemble of modern music "SED Contra", the orchestras "New Era Orchestra" and "Virtuosos of Kiev", as well as with the Young Theater.

Olga Driga (cello) - graduated from the Kiev Conservatory. Laureate of prestigious prizes and participant of international festivals in different countries of Europe. Participated in theatrical productions of the Kiev theater of Russian drama. Lesia Ukrainka. She collaborated with famous conductors of Ukraine, Italy, Romania, Moldova, Russia and Lebanon.
