INDEPENDENCE DAY IN ODESA — CONCERTS IN SUPPORT OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UA!
Unbreakable Odesa, meet the most humorous show of Independent Ukraine! Neither Covid nor the enemy can break this tradition – in August, “Diesel Show” is going to the Ukrainian capital of humor with patriotic concerts! On Independence Day, we will support our Odessa friends with our signature jokes, charge them with positive energy, and give them the warmest “diesel” hugs.
The Diesel Show team invites you to unforgettable concerts that will take place on August 24 at the Musical Comedy Theater at 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM!
We will definitely come – we have never let Odessans down! We will definitely bring a new program that has not been shown on TV yet. So, it will be traditionally patriotic, exclusive and very, very funny! Odesa is a special city for us and performing here has already become a good tradition for “diesels”! Especially in such a difficult time, when the humorous capital of Ukraine is suffering from constant enemy attacks. We understand how badly our fans need our support. Therefore, the “Diesel Show” team brings the most patriotic fighting humor to Odessans, which will resonate with every viewer!
Together we will laugh in the face of our enemies and raise our fighting spirit!
As always, we support the steadfast defenders of Ukraine, who defend our freedom and right to Independence every day. We transfer part of the funds raised from the concerts to the Non-profit Organization "Diesel Fund", which helps cover the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And we call on all our guests to join this charitable initiative. Only by joint efforts can we bring Ukraine's victory closer!

The history of the theater began not in Odessa, but in Lviv in 1947. The young creative troupe staged various performances and quickly gained recognition, and in 1953 it was transferred to Odessa itself. Shows about the city and Odessans became real business cards of the theater, and the whole country quickly learned about the artists. In 1981, the Odesa Music Comedy moved from a small stage to a large one specially built for the theater, and in 2006 it was granted the status of "academic". Today, the Odessa Academic Theater of Musical Comedy is one of the most equipped and large stage venues in the city.
The theater hall has a capacity of 1,282 seats and is equipped with everything necessary for holding various types of events: modern acoustics and lighting allow for high-quality performances that are sure to please the audience.
The theater has always had a huge creative potential and was a pioneer in the genre. Along with classical operettas, musicals, rock operas, musical comedies, and fairy tales are performed. Many touring events take place on the stage of the theater: humorous programs, musical concerts — from performances by popular contemporary artists to shows with the participation of a symphony orchestra.
