The musical sensation "Hutsulka Ksenia" goes to Lviv. 4 reasons not to miss!
We invite you to the Lviv Opera and Ballet Theater on March 8 for the main Ukrainian event of this year, the musical sensation - "Hutsulka Ksenia".
Born in Ivano-Frankivsk under the leadership of the People's Artist of Ukraine and Shevchenko Prize winner Rostislav Derzhipilsky, the performance caused a real sensation! This is confirmed by 25 sold-out crowds in a row and a fantastic love of the public traveling to Ivano-Frankivsk from all over Ukraine. It is time to show this modern masterpiece to Lviv!
Here are 4 reasons why you cannot miss this event:
1. The music of the legendary Ukrainian composer Yaroslav Barnich, which sounds in a contemporary arrangement, written by the chief conductor of the Frankivsky dramatist Bogdan Tkachuk. An orchestra of 20 great musicians under his direction is constantly on stage, creating lively and atmospheric accompaniment to the events and songs of the play. The songs are so light and pleasant to hear that you will be singing these tunes for another week!
2. The scale of the action, involving 30 actors, captivates and amazes, while the dance numbers with elements of contemporary choreography at the same time retain an authentic Ukrainian keynote.
3. Harmonious combination of modern technologies with Ukrainian authenticity. This is a real show! In particular, among the costumes you can see a unique collection of Hutsul gunas Ruslana Goncharuk. The highlight of the stage solution is the laser show from the “Show Service” team, which creates incredible effects both on stage and in the audience.
4. A plot as light and interesting as the music of a musical. Ukrainian immigrants arrive to Vorokhta from the USA to find a young bride in the Carpathians. His father inherited a million dollars for him, but on condition that he find a "Ukrainian girl" in the historical homeland and marry her.
We meet on March 8 at 3:00 pm at the Opera and Ballet Theater
