"Homin" is a true echo of the Ukrainian soul. Founded in 1988, the collective has been bringing the beauty, depth, and grandeur of the national choral tradition to the world from the very beginning. Its mission is to preserve and popularize choral art, to reveal unique polyphony.
The choir members also became part of the soundtrack for the world-famous HBO series "Chernobyl" - their voices are heard in the final, piercing composition "Eternal Memory".
A new creative stage for "Gomon" began in 2023, when the group joined the Lviv Organ Hall. Under the leadership of the charismatic Vadym Yatsenko, the choir opened a new page in its history. In October of the same year, the group represented Ukraine at the festival in Lund, Sweden - in the hall where the Nobel Prize is traditionally awarded.
Today, the group presents new programs and enchants the audience with the sound of Ukrainian songs. It is definitely worth hearing live.
