About events

For the first time in Ukraine.

On March 17 and 18, 2021, at 7 pm, on the main stage of the country, in the Palace "Ukraine", the premiere of the world-famous ballet "Swan Lake" in 3D format will take place. Tickets for the event can be purchased online at Concert.ua

On one stage - 80 ballet dancers, large-scale augmented reality scenery and 2.5 hours of show accompanied by the Kyiv Opera Theater Symphony Orchestra conducted by Viktor Ploskina, Honored Artist of Ukraine, known for productions in the United States, Europe and Asia. The Kyiv troupe includes leading artists of Ukrainian and world ballet. Prince Siegfried's part was to be danced by the eventual Prime Minister of the Vienna State Opera, Denis Cherevychko. But, unfortunately, Denis's professional injury made adjustments and the main male part was gladly agreed to be performed by Xander Parish, a British virtuoso dancer, winner of the British National Dance Prize and holder of the Order of the British Empire for service in dance. On the sidelines, Xander is affectionately called "the main prince of ballet" for his beauty and English aristocratic aesthetics of dance. The virtuoso prima ballerina of the Slovak National Theater in Bratislava, Olga Chelpanova, will play two opposite roles on stage - tender Odette and fatal Odile, and the Prime Minister of the National Opera of Ukraine Oleksiy Tyutyunnyk in the image of the evil genius Rothbart will hold the breath of every spectator.

Classical choreography in combination with modern virtual scenery maximizes the impression of the skill of ballet dancers and the capabilities of the human body.

"Viewers will become participants in the action with the help of multimedia content," - shares his thoughts the author and artistic director of the project, Honored Artist of Ukraine Ruslan Bentsyanov. "We are preparing a special show. We present classical ballet with 3D decorations to attract young spectators to high art, using modern technology. By combining the language of dance and digital scenery, we make ballet more accessible to perception. And the production itself is more voluminous and fabulous!
The mission of our project is to bring the modern spectator closer to art, without violating the foundations of the classics, combining high art and the latest technologies. In addition, 3D technology in the show is a worthy alternative to traditional scenery, a conscious step towards environmental friendliness in art.

"Swan Lake" in 3-D is a new generation performance. This is a time-tested drama!
