Swan Lake is the most beloved and popular ballet that adorns the stages of the world's best theaters. The plot, borrowed from a romantic German legend, tells the story of the beautiful Princess Odette and her friends, turned into white swans by the spell of an evil sorcerer. Peter Tchaikovsky's amazing, full of feelings music became visible in the performance of the Mariinsky Theater in 1895 thanks to the ingenious reading of choreographers Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. This choreography brought the ballet immortality.

"Swan Lake" is not only the most famous name and symbol of classical ballet - the standard of beauty and harmony. This is one of the most complex ballets, its presence in the repertoire is a testament to the high professionalism of the troupe, the skill of the soloists and the corps de ballet.
