LINOLEUM is the only international animation festival in Ukraine. Each year, the festival brings together the most significant representatives of the animation industry of the country and the world, promotes the cultural exchange, development and popularization of animation in the country.
The purpose of the festival is to show that animation is not only about children's cartoons. Unlike fiction films, animation has unlimited possibilities that make it a universal tool for any communication. That is why representatives of various industries and genres are turning to it more and more often: from serious documentary films to science fiction and horror films, from advertising of major brands to experimental video art.
This year, all screenings of competitive and non-competitive programs will be held in the cult cultural place of the capital - the Zhovten cinema (26 Konstantinovskaya St.).
The educational program will be held in the creative space of IZONE, which is also located on Podil (Naberezhno-Lugovaya St., 8). Admission to IZONE is free.
