In 1930, Mikhail Bulgakov wrote a staging of the immortal poem “Dead Souls” by Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol for the Moscow Art Theater. The writer introduced into the play the image of the First, somewhat reminiscent of Gogol himself. Since 1931, KS Stanislavsky joined the production, and the performance acquired realistic features in the spirit of the Stanislavsky system.
The soul is immortal, because it embodies the divine principle in man, and the dead souls in business are insane, but in our crazy world they forgot about the soul ... And this lawlessness is the cause of the disintegration of society, its collapse.
