The main theatrical event of the fall is the Serge Lifar International Ballet Festival.
November 12 and 13 on the stage of the National Opera of Ukraine - the festival of the legendary Serge Lifar with the participation of world ballet stars.
This Festival is a real holiday of ballet art and a bright world event in the center of Ukraine. On stage, the audience will be amazed with the unique ballet technique and positive emotions of the premieres and soloists of the best ballet schools in the world: La Scala, Paris Grand Opera, Berlin Opera, Astana Opera, Vienna Opera, Munich Opera, Netherlands Opera and of course the National Opera of Ukraine.
Within the framework of the festival, viewers will be able to enjoy the most famous productions created by Serge Lifar for the Paris Opera.

On the first day of the festival, November 12, even before the ballet dancers take the stage, a short film about the life and work of Serge Lifar, his collaboration with such iconic historical figures as Coco Chanel, Pablo Picasso and many others will be shown. The film will reveal a little the events of the secular life of Paris and Europe of the XX century. And it will help you better understand the iconic performances of the famous choreographer, his inspiration for creativity.
The grand opening of the first day of the festival will begin with the masterpiece of world ballet classics "Suite in White". This graceful ballet performed by the soloists of the Parisian Grand Opera and the National Opera of Ukraine will give the viewer a real unforgettable view of the French school and the pure choreography of Lifar.
After the intermission, so to speak for dessert, the iconic performances "Icarus", "Romeo and Julia", "Faun" and "Morning Serenade" performed by Stanislav Olshansky, Ekaterina Cook Alexander Stoyanov, Alexander Skulkin and many others.

On the second day of the festival, November 13, a gala concert of world ballet stars will take place. Within the framework of the Festival, there will be a fragment from the future premiere of the modern production "Lifar", which will be presented in full in the spring of 2022.
In the Gala Concert of the Festival, outstanding artists from different theaters of the world will present to the public a program that covers both works created by the choreographer Serge Lifar and works that have become ballet hits. Also, this evening, students of the Lifar Academy will demonstrate their skills that they will be able to see the production of "Lifar-Suite".
