“My people, tortured, broken,
The paralytic spoke at the crossroads,
Covered with human contempt, like a scab!
I am disturbing your future soul… ”
Ivan Franko
The poetic drama "Moses" by Ivan Franko is a look at modern Ukrainian society through references to the biblical text, the optics of the Ukrainian genius Ivan Franko and the skill of the director Igor Borys. The question of the fate of the people and their election of the Leader, which is relevant today, is at the center of the stage action. Why is it so difficult for us to agree with each other? Will we choose the path to freedom, or will we turn back and replace the will with material prosperity? "Moses" is the largest performance of the KhTDYU, a canvas full of words by Ivan Franko and rock music. 45 artists are involved on the stage - almost the entire troupe of the theater, students-actors of the Academy of Culture, young members of the team "Vizavi".
