The Palace of Culture of Railway Workers "Rocks" was opened in Lviv in 1938. The building is an architectural monument of local importance. It was built by the Lviv builder Henryk Zaremba according to the project of the famous Warsaw architect Romuald Müller. The Great Hall of the Palace of Culture was used as a "Roxy" (originally ROXY) cinema in 1938-1944, and later as a venue for theatrical performances.

The large "Rocks" auditorium has 800 seats. The Museum of the History of the Lviv Railway also operates in a separate building of the Railwaymen's Palace.
