The Cost of Living: a surreal drama with elements of mysticism
If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be?
We will tell you a painful and adult tale. About meanness and forgiveness, about the endless movement in a circle of empty desires. About the most expensive in price and what is most expensive in reality.
What is the Cost of Living in modern society? Do the things around which we increasingly build our world belong to us, or perhaps one day we will begin to belong to them?
Embark on a short and meaningful journey of self-discovery and rethinking in the surreal 2-act drama “The Cost of Living” by Theater No. 7.
50% of the ticket price goes towards the technical support of the air defense of Odessa and Southern Ukraine.
The performance lasts 2 hours. After that, there is a cozy dinner and discussion with the actors.
What to prepare for?
"The Cost of Living" is a surreal immersive drama. The first 30 minutes of the performance will remind you of a journey into a mysterious quest room, where you will look not even for an answer, but for a question. And then, moving through the 5 floors of the theater, you will find yourself in the middle of a mysterious story that poses the main question: "Where are we now? And what is happening to us?"
Get ready to think about symbols, hate or sympathize with the characters, and solve the intricate puzzle of other people's destinies.

Theatre Rules
The performance is immersive, that is, created to provide the effect of immersion and presence in the events.
And now a few simple rules of conduct:
- Theater No. 7 is not a place for heels and long evening dresses. People go to the Theater here to be frank and real. An Insta-look in a cramped basement or someone's old bedroom will seem inappropriate. Dress simply and comfortably.
- If actors call you, follow them. But don't do it yourself.
- Don't talk to the actors, you can be heard. But respond freely to the actors if they speak to you.
- Of course, turn off the sound signals of mobile phones.
- Outside of intermissions, do not run around the Theater. The entire space is a stage. You can seriously interfere with the actors.
- You control your own “camera.” Events can unfold anywhere, 360 °.
- Take a seat as soon as you reach the new floor.
- Do not sit in seats marked as “actors’ seats.”
That's all! Enjoy your dive!
