Theater of Russian Drama of Lesia Ukrainka presents a comedy based on the work of the modern playwright Nadezhda Ptushkina “Christmas Dreams”. There will be a lot of romance, sentimentality and non-standard views. Come!
On New Year's Eve and on Christmas Eve anything happens. So it happened to the hero of the play: he kept on his way to a meeting in one apartment, and got into a completely different place. And here he was met by an old maid, her sick mother and... readings of Dickens. Yes, it is the English classic that reads the sick mother to her daughter. One counts the days until death. The other one is trying to brighten up these days. But both are dreaming of the romantic and sentimental, sung in the novels of the XIX century.
The play tells that every home can be filled with happiness. The main thing is to really want and be ready to fight for it. At a critical moment, hold out and possibly sacrifice the truth.
In the works of Nadezhda Ptushkina, modern morals, character traits characteristic of many, are clearly visible. In them - all our reality, as well as the tendency to dream. Whether dreams can replace reality and vice versa is worth thinking about.
The duration of the performance is 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Waiting for you!
