The Little Mermaid is one of the most famous tales of the Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen. A touching story about a young mermaid who was ready to leave her usual life at sea in order to find a human soul and the love of a prince.
The fairy tale has conquered millions of children and adults hearts! The work was first published in 1837, and since then it has been adapted many times - in musicals, animation and feature films.
We invite you to visit a ballet based on a famous fairy tale! Libretto by Sergei Kochergin. The production uses music by P. Tchaikovsky, F. Mendelssohn, R. Wagner, N. Rimsky-Korsakov, M. Glinka, K. Debussy, E. Grieg, G. F. Handel, I. Strauss, G. Berlioz, Sh. Gounod, C. Saint-Saens.
Choreographer-director - Sergey Kochergin, videographer - Alexey Akentiev. Ballet dancers of the theater and students of S. Antipova's ballet studio take part in The Little Mermaid.
The duration of the performance in 2 acts is 1.5 hours (with intermission).
