The play "I-the Clown, or KOTotroyka" is dedicated to the stars of the world clownade: Charlie Chaplin, Leonid Yengibarov and the clown with the stage name Grok, whose real name is Charles Adrien Vettiyev.
Honored Artist of Russia Dmitry Kuklachev brought to life his old dream and staged a play dedicated to the idols of his youth.
The play "I'm a Clown, or Kototroyka" is a look at big names through the lens of modernity and, of course, through the lens of the Cat Theater. Entering the image and performing reruns of large clowns, Dmitry Kuklachev complicates the numbers by adding tricks with cats.
Very accurately used in the image of Chaplin, Dmitry makes the audience believe that this stage is this big clown. Kuklachev-Chaplin easily balances the sixth, with the cat sitting upright.
Performing a reprise of the musical eccentric Grok, the artist plays on the dust, extracting sounds from this non-musical instrument of incredible beauty.
In the image of Leonid Yengibarov, Dmitry performs a complicated reprise: he consistently wins one, three and even five reels!
Dmitry Kuklachev performs the most difficult numbers with ease thanks to the highest skill of professionalism.
Recommended for adults and children as young as 5 years old.
