Performance "At the Ark at 8"
Ulrich Hub
"At the Ark at 8" - a play by modern famous German director and playwright Ulrich Hub - is an example of a successful combination of the biblical parable of the Flood, which is based on the plot, and a modern cute story about three cute penguins who get on board Noah's Ark. But there are three penguins and only two tickets to the ark. In this difficult situation, the heroes of the play have to connect all their best qualities: a sense of friendship, faith, honor, love of neighbor.
"At the Ark at 8", at one time, was recognized as the best children's play in Germany. For several years now, it has been very popular not only in children's but also "adult" theaters around the world. After all, people of all ages find something necessary for themselves in history and perceive it at their level.
The play "At the Ark at 8" is ideal for family viewing, but above all it is recommended for viewing for children and adolescents aged 4-14.
In June 2015, the Maskam Rad Theater with the play "At the Ark at 8" took part in the International Youth Theater Festival in Vratsa (Bulgaria), where it represented Ukraine together with theater groups from 15 other countries on different continents.
The idea of staging the play belongs to Alesia Lifantiy. The first performance of the play at the Maskam Rad Theater was also performed by Alesya Lifantiy. We are currently resuming the play in another scenography and production - by Maryna Kutsenko.
We invite children from 6 years old with their parents to the performance "At the Ark at 8 o'clock"
