Musical tale "The Great Jazz Journey" on "Scene 77"
Bright and dynamic story about the development of jazz art for the whole family.
From the mysterious mobile bench of Mrs. Ivanka, which was visited by the inventor of the saxophone Adolf Sachs, the children will go on a long journey. Together with the runaway slaves, they will make their way across America to the brilliant Carnegie Hall. There, the Mamba Band will play jazz improvisations for the first time, and the jazz style itself will forever win the hearts of the audience. The show is full of funny situations, fun adventures and various unexpected discoveries - for example, how the Ukrainian lullaby influenced the creation of a world jazz hit!
"The Great Jazz Journey" is the second of four performances of the art-educational project "The First Step into Great Art", which introduces children to the world of music, original instruments and musical traditions of different countries!
During the performance, the audience will hear jazz musical instruments such as saxophone and double bass. And yet - learn about the stages of development of jazz from "working" songs and "spirituals" to the world jazz hit!
