The plot of Mykola Vasylovich Gogol's story "THE WHICH" is one of the most mysterious, frightening and fascinating plots of classical literature.

The genre of the performance "VIJ" is a musical, and the specifics of this large-scale production can be called the specifics of a blockbuster, using "cinematic" terminology. Indeed, "WHILL" is a kind of theatrical blockbuster - with large-scale costume scenes, dances, songs, very complex and spectacular stunts and special effects. Home Brutus, the main character of the play, has to defend himself for three nights in an ominous abandoned church, next to a witch's coffin, and each subsequent night will be scarier than the previous one...

But, as in Gogol's story, scary mystical scenes are interspersed with recklessly cheerful and cheerful sketches of Ukrainian Cossack life.
