November 25 in Kiev will host a festival of single malt whiskey - WHISKY DRAM. Without excessive modesty, we can say that this is one of the most significant events in the field of whiskey, and it is already certain - the most impressive in terms of the composition of the participants and the presented drinks.

This year Whiskey Dram will be held for the third time, which means that we will see even more people with a Scottish accent and get access to the tasting of the 350 best whiskeys in the world. Whiskey will be sold in drams. 1 dram - 20 ml (from 20 UAH). The main area of ​​the festival is the tasting room. Here for 1 day, 70 single-malt brands from Scotland and Asia, bourbon and Irish whiskey will settle together. The seriousness of our intentions to immerse the guests in the topic of single malt says a list of invited guests and positions that are brought to Ukraine specifically for the festival, sometimes in suitcases.

Karen Fullerton of Glenmorangie, who recently represented the brand in Shanghai Whiskey Live, Ashok Chokalingam, the ambassador of the acclaimed Indian whiskey Amrut, John Quinn, who has worked for Tullamordew since 1974 and named the Whiskey Brand Ambassador of the year in 2016, and others, no less interesting guests.

For rare and exclusive drinks a special room is selected - Selective Whiskey. There are closed distilleries, rare releases and the last bottles of outstanding single malts - everything that collectors hunt around the world. You can not drink such positions in Kiev often, if not practically never. And the prices for them grow every year. Naturally, all this can be tried portionwise.

This year the festival will be held on two floors of the Park. The expansion of the area was demanded by a separate food-pairing zone with master classes on a mix of whiskey and a larger number of lectures delivered by ambassadors. We decided not to translate foreign guests from English, so as not to lose important details of fascinating stories in the process.

Of the other innovations, the bar deserves special attention. Here, the top 9 bartenders of Ukraine for 1 day will become a big family. Their task: to get closer and offer their vision of modern cocktails based on single malt whiskey.

The ticket price includes access to the tasting zone, a communication zone, a glass of Spiegelau for tasting (deposit - 100 UAH), 10% discount at a pop art shop, charging smartphones and a parking space. Lectures will have a separate cost.
