Yarmak is a popular Ukrainian rapper, songwriter, and actor. The future star of the domestic scene was born in the city of Boryspil, which is in the Kyiv region. Oleksandr's parents were not connected with the sphere of culture and the creative industry. And at first they did not encourage their son's interest in hip-hop and rap. At the same time, Sashko became interested in music at the age of 12, when he first tried to create his own tracks in the Ableton Live program. It was then that the young man discovered the rap genre, began to train in recitative, and was inspired by the work of such iconic representatives of his favorite style.
At the age of 15, the KVK game appeared in the young man's stage experience. Creative activity helped develop leadership qualities, confidence, artistry and charisma. It was these traits that played an important role in the development of Yarmak's musical career. The passion for rap culture captured the boy headlong. Alexander imitated the style of his favorite performers, wore loose, wide clothes and Nike sneakers. To immerse himself deeper into the culture, the young man began to engage in break dancing. A collection of cassettes with recordings of his favorite rap artists and groups aroused admiration among his friends. During this period, Sasha's poetic talent manifested itself. In addition, the author began to write music for his works.
Oleksandr Yarmak received his higher education at the National Aviation University in Kyiv. He studied at the Faculty of Aircraft. He also continued to perform in the KVC as part of the “NAU National Team” team. With a team of like-minded people, he reached the final of the Higher Ukrainian League. At the same time, he did not leave music, improved his acquired skills and mastered programming and web development.

Yarmak's path to fame and wide recognition was unexpectedly rapid. In 2011, Oleksandr began posting his tracks on social networks and YouTube. The first published video clip gained over 50 thousand views overnight. And two weeks later it crossed the one million mark. Such an explosive debut proved that Yarmak's music finds a powerful response in the hearts of a young audience.
A passion for rap culture and creativity paved the way for the rapper to the capital's radio station, where the guy began working as a host. Taking advantage of the opportunity provided by the radio director, Oleksandr used professional equipment to record his own compositions. Thus, the artist noticeably improved his sound and developed his own author's style.
The years 2012-2013 were decisive in Alexander's career. It was during this period that the performer finally consolidated his position on the music scene. Yarmak went through a lightning-fast path from a beginner to a recognized artist. It was a time of creative takeoff, experiments and the formation of the singer's unique style. The song "The Heart of a Boy" immediately gained popularity online after its release, becoming a hit among rap fans. In the same year, the premiere of the comedy sitcom "How Style Was Tempered" took place on one of the TV channels. The project told about Yarmak's creative path and the events that inspired the young man to become a musician.

Oleksandr actively developed not only in studio work, but also on stage. The rapper paid great attention to live performances. His concerts gathered fans all over Ukraine, and the tour schedule became more and more intense. On the eve of the tour of Western Ukraine, the artist prepared an original invitation for listeners - he released a song in Ukrainian. The track quickly spread across the network and attracted even more attention to the rapper's concerts.

YARMAK is not just an artist, but a conscious citizen of his native country. In 2014, the rapper was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity. He personally recorded documentary footage of street clashes between protesters and security forces. These materials became part of the video clip for the song "22". The track combined patriotic lyrics and hip-hop sound. The composition quickly gained popularity and became a real anthem of that time.
During the full-scale invasion, YARMAK also did not stay away. Already on February 26, 2022, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, becoming a grenade launcher. And later devoted himself to aerial reconnaissance. The war did not force the artist to abandon his creativity. On the contrary, now Yarmak uses music as a tool to support the fighting spirit of the Ukrainian defenders. Together with other military musicians, he participates in the “Cultural Landing” project. Performances take place even in the hottest locations.
Yarmak's work supports the army not only morally. The artist donates 100% of the profits from his tracks to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In just four months, the song "Wild Field" brought in about 500,000 UAH, which was spent on the needs of the Ukrainian military.
