Laima Vaikule: A Creative Way

The talent for singing manifested itself in the future pop star quite early. Laima Vaikule won her first diploma at the contest of young singers in Riga at the age of 12. From this point on the talented girl becomes the soloist of a jazz orchestra. A couple of years later, he receives an award of a Republican-level competition.

It is interesting that the young singer’s first acquaintance with maestro Raymond Pauls did not lead to their creative collaboration: Lyme, despite the composer’s rave reviews, went on a Caucasian tour with her own musical group.

Sign in the career of Laima Vaikule was the recording of the song "Vernissage", performed along with Valery Leontiev. Next on the road to popularity was the composition "Not Evening." Laima Vaikule records albums, becomes an active participant in various television projects (“Old songs about the main thing 3”, “Hipsters Show” and others). The singer is invited as a member of the jury to the competitions "New Wave", "People's Artist".
