Skryabin is synonymous with the word "iconic" in Ukrainian music
The Skryabin band is, without exaggeration, a part of Ukrainian history. Founded by the legendary Andriy Kuzmenko in 1989 in Novoyavorivsk, the band became the first to play high-quality electronic music in Ukraine. Over time, the band moved to pop-rock, although the same recognizable synthesizer still sounded in many compositions. Together with Kuzma, 16 studio albums were released, each of which became a real explosion in terms of popularity and number of hits.
After the tragic death of the leader of the band and the idol of millions, Kuzma, the team continued its creative path. At different times, the voices of session vocalists Zhenya Tolochny, Olga Lizgunova, and Zhenya Halych could be heard from the stage. The composition of the musicians also changed. Today Scriabin is:
- Oleksiy Zvolynskyi (guitar);
- Konstantin Glitin (bass guitar);
- Vadym Kolisnichenko (drums);
- Yurko "Yurkesh" Yurchenko (vocals).
Skryabin was and remains the first for millions of fans who continue to come to the band's concerts and sing in unison poignant and driving, wise and passionate, sad and cheerful songs, in which each of us and all our lives are.
The most famous hits of the Scriabin group: "Old photos", "Shut up", "A country of one's own", "Talked and smoked", "People like ships", "Mom" and many, many others. They are re-sung by the most famous artists from the big stage. They sound to the guitar in the company around the fire. Today, the Skryabin group is the first and only official representative of Andriy Kuzmenko's work.
