How Lisa Uglach from Knyazhychi built her Structure of Happiness
Structure of Happiness is an electronic project of Liza Uglach, a representative of the new Ukrainian scene and a singer who belongs to the generation of "Zumers" and creates high-quality independent music in Ukraine today. Lisa comes from the village of Knyazhychi, in the Kyiv region. She started playing music at the age of 5. She never finished the piano course, because something went wrong. And after the 9th grade, there was admission to the theater college named after Karpenko-Kary, where Lisa was supposed to be trained as a theater and film actress. However, the musical path still caught up with Lisa. Interest in creativity came after the older brother gave the girl a studio recording of his friend. Since then, the future leader of the Structure of Happiness begins to master the guitar and write the first texts of her own songs. As befits "zoomers", Lisa is inspired by the work of Linkin Park, Twenty One Pilots, Imagine Dragons and other popular bands. From experiments with pop-punk to the status of the coolest tracks of the season
Together with Liza, Danilo and Sasha from the band Apatiya participate in the activities of the Structure of Happiness project. There are interesting collaborations with Sad Novelist, hatespeech, drimandr and Marniy. After the start of a full-scale war, only Ukrainian-language songs appeared in the repertoire of the Structure of Happiness, and the style of music transformed towards techno, breakcore and witch house. The performer does not ascribe herself to any of the subcultures and is "drowning" for individuality. With her creativity, Lisa wants to show: freedom is the "structure of happiness", and experiments are a source of inspiration. Among the most famous modern hits of the project are "Friend" and "Sedatives".
