Британський театр Фінбороу (Finborough Theatre) привозить до Києва п’єсу «Pussycat in the Memory of Darkness» української драматургині Неди Нежданої у перекладі англійською. «Я хочу подати заяву про крадіжку… Мене пограбували. Що у мене вкрали?… Та майже все… Дім, землю, машину, роботу, друзів, місто, віру в добро…» – каже героїня вистави. Актуальний твір Неди Нежданої яскраво розкриває коріння російської війни проти України побитими очима однієї жінки-біженки з трьома кошенятами.

Today we present our first participant: Kristin Malward and her beautiful act.
Discover "Pussycat in Memory of Darkness, a poignant new play by Neda Nejdana that tells the story of a woman selling kittens on the streets of Donbas, a region in Ukraine that has been affected by ongoing violence since Russia's takeover of Crimea in 2014. Through this woman's eyes, the play starkly exposes the roots of Russia's war in Ukraine.
Don't miss the chance to see this acclaimed play, which was nominated for multiple awards, including Best New Play, during its original production at the Finborough Theatre in August 2022.
In December 2022, the Finborough Theatre became the first foreign theatre to perform in Ukraine since the Russian invasion, collaborating with ProEnglish Theatre of Ukraine and Alex Borovenskiy for an unforgettable run of performances.
