We invite you to the dramatic production of Honored Artist of Ukraine Yuriy Nevgamonny "XX Family Chronicle", in which the sad and the funny will balance on a fine line. The dance scenes were directed by choreographer Diana Kostyka. The roles are performed by actresses Olga Saltykova, Valeria Zadumkina, Maria Kabakchey and Yevgenia Yesman.
An emotional story about our place in life and family
XX is, as you know, a chromosomal combination that determines the female gender. And the word "chronicle", in turn, has several meanings at once: on the one hand, it is a written document, on the other, it is a designation of a long-term, chronic disease in medicine.
The play "XX Family Chronicle" depicts the audience in fragments the history of four generations of women from one family - great-grandmother, grandmother, mother and daughter. The events unfold in Krakow (Poland) and cover the period from 1939 to the early 2000s. At the heart of the play is a dramatic and at the same time ironic story about love and enmity, about attraction and rejection, about the desperate desire not to repeat the mistakes of parents - and about the inevitability of fate. This is a story about the complexity of understanding with loved ones and about how difficult it can be to forgive even the closest people...
The duration of the performance is 90 minutes. Age category is 12+. Please note: the hall is open seating. After the performance begins, spectators are not allowed into the hall. We are waiting for you!
