The musical language of Er. J. Orchestra is formed at the intersection of ethnic, Slavic medieval, oriental, academic and jazz traditions, supplemented by elements of progressive music. Bandura, wheel lyre, recorder flutes, violins, cellos, accordion and percussion create a diverse palette of timbres, in which each instrument retains its expressiveness, while becoming part of a holistic composition.
The event will continue the exploration of sensory perception, laid out in the exhibition "Kyiv-Venice", and will open up the opportunity to experience the exhibition through the interaction of sound and visual image. The music of Er. J. Orchestra will sound in dialogue with the work of Alina Khorolska, presented within the exhibition project, creating a new context for perception. This is an opportunity to stop, listen to music and space and discover new connections between sound, image and one's own experience.
We invite you to spend this evening in the space of art and music, allow yourself to slow down, distract yourself from the daily rhythm of life and complex reality, and focus on what is felt here and now.
