On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence, one of the most famous contemporary Ukrainian poets, Yulia Barva, presents a book dedicated to Ukraine, its indomitable people, strength of spirit, and everything that every Ukrainian is experiencing today. This is a book about memory, faith, love for the Motherland, and the people who fight for its future every day.

Yulia Barva is one of the most famous contemporary Ukrainian poets, the author of poems that have resonated in the hearts of millions of Ukrainians in recent years. Her poetry, known under the hashtag #авсейшевірши , has become the voice of a generation experiencing war, loss, love, hope, and indomitability.

"Birds Don't Fly East" is more than a book. It is a poetic chronicle of Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale invasion to the present. Each poem is born from real stories, human pain, strength of spirit, faith, and love for the native land.

The presentation will be not only an introduction to the new collection, but also a charitable event. The funds raised from the sale of the book during the presentation on August 21 in Lviv will be donated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
