Who is Shevchenko for us today?

A national symbol, a genius of the school curriculum, an old grandfather in a cap or a successful self-made man? The young artist Taras does not understand such excessive admiration for the poet and, due to constant comparisons with the genius, doubts himself... Shevchenko appears to debunk myths about himself and honestly talk to the new generation, not as a pathetic prophet, but as a living person - an artist, poet, rebel, who once also searched for himself among other people's expectations.

The audience becomes participants in the action and finds themselves under the sights of thoughts that fly, transform, and guide through Shevchenko's images - from the monument to the person.
