Planetarium Noosphere invites little “why-kids” aged 4+ to an interactive program featuring a full-dome 4K animated film «Mice and the Moon». Children will enjoy a guided age-appropriate tour of the exhibition zone, their first introduction to the stars, and a magical journey in the dome-shaped Star Hall.

About the program
The full-dome film «Mice and the Moon» tells a touching story about two curious friends, Pip and Skrip. Every night they observe the sky and try to solve a mystery: who is biting pieces off the Moon, which so closely resembles a tasty yellow cheese?
With the help of a wise owl, the little mice discover robot astronomers. Together with the characters, young viewers will peek through a telescope and learn how the Moon is actually structured, whether there is water in lunar seas, and whether strange fish might live there.
What the 90-minute program includes

Місце, що викликає щирий подив і захоплення: історія та сучасність
Planetarium Noosphere – сучасна назва Дніпровського планетарію, що гостинно відкрив свої двері першим відвідувачам у 1968 році. Центр освіти про космос, астрономію і науку розташований за адресою узвіз Крутогірний, 10. Унікальний простір дозволив всім бажаючим особисто дослідити рух планет та різні небесні явища. Програми демонструвалися на куполі діаметром 12 метрів за допомогою апарату «Планетарій» компанії Carl Zeiss Jena. З початком використання комп’ютерів розширились можливості планетарію, і тематика програм охопила ширшу вікову категорію.
Нова історія закладу розпочалась у 2018 році, коли за підтримки громадських організацій відбувся капітальний ремонт та технічне удосконалення Planetarium Noosphere. Серед важливих удосконалень – встановлення 6-ти LED-проєкторної проєкційної системи Norx для демонстрації відео у форматі 4K. У виставковій зоні з’явились інтерактивні експонати, що дозволяють знайомитися з астрономією та будовою планет: глобус Місяця, проєкційна пісочниця з кінетичним піском тощо.
