Planetarium Noosphere invites children aged 8 and older to the interactive program “Constellations of the Southern Sky” — an exciting journey to stars that cannot be seen from Ukraine. Visitors will enjoy an age-adapted exhibition tour, an introduction to constellations, a simulated space journey in the Star Hall, and a 4K full-dome animated film screening.

About the program
“Constellations of the Southern Sky” is an exciting journey into distant star worlds, where you can see fantastic celestial birds, mythical creatures, and legendary ships of ancient heroes. Participants will learn why the Southern Cross became an important navigational landmark, who is honored by the constellation Centaurus, and which exotic animals were placed in the sky during the Age of Exploration.
The program also includes a journey around the Moon, showing how differently it appears from various parts of Earth and revealing new perspectives of the familiar night sky.

- An interactive introduction to the exhibition zone guided by a space educator.
- Visits to the Mars and Moon zones.
- A VR journey through the Solar System.
- An introduction to constellations and a real-time space simulation in the Star Hall.

Місце, що викликає щирий подив і захоплення: історія та сучасність
Planetarium Noosphere – сучасна назва Дніпровського планетарію, що гостинно відкрив свої двері першим відвідувачам у 1968 році. Центр освіти про космос, астрономію і науку розташований за адресою узвіз Крутогірний, 10. Унікальний простір дозволив всім бажаючим особисто дослідити рух планет та різні небесні явища. Програми демонструвалися на куполі діаметром 12 метрів за допомогою апарату «Планетарій» компанії Carl Zeiss Jena. З початком використання комп’ютерів розширились можливості планетарію, і тематика програм охопила ширшу вікову категорію.
Нова історія закладу розпочалась у 2018 році, коли за підтримки громадських організацій відбувся капітальний ремонт та технічне удосконалення Planetarium Noosphere. Серед важливих удосконалень – встановлення 6-ти LED-проєкторної проєкційної системи Norx для демонстрації відео у форматі 4K. У виставковій зоні з’явились інтерактивні експонати, що дозволяють знайомитися з астрономією та будовою планет: глобус Місяця, проєкційна пісочниця з кінетичним піском тощо.
