The Odesa Theater of Young Spectators is one of the oldest and most beautiful children's theaters in the country. It has been operating since 1930 and during this time has received many international awards (the award of the International Youth Theater Festival, the GLORIA Arts Festival, and others), and dozens of People's and Honored Artists of Ukraine have played in its performances.

The director and artistic director of the theater is Honored Artist of Ukraine Oksana Burlay-Piterova. In 2021, the Odesa Theater of Young Spectators became one of the founders of the Ukrainian National Center of the International Association of Theaters for Children ASSITEJ.
