In October 2024, Yaroslava Hres first appeared on the stage of the International Center for Contemporary Music in Kyiv with a program called "The Blue Dress." On November 21, 2026, she will do so for the last time in Lviv.

Over 15,000 people visited "The Blue Dress" in various cities of Ukraine.

The history of the blue dress

Seventeen years ago, Yaroslava Gres's life was marked by a story about a blue dress. At that time, she was the youngest editor-in-chief of HELLO! magazine in the world. Due to the global financial crisis, the magazine was closed. Yaroslava was left without a job and with a large mortgage on her apartment. At the same time, she was going through a difficult divorce and taking care of her daughter, who had heart surgery. And it would have been nothing if she hadn't had to buy a dress. The dress that she wore to the last HELLO! event and which cost $2,500. This dress became a symbol of great trials, experiences and the success that eventually happened.

"I am grateful to the thousands of people who visited "The Blue Dress" or watched it online, and to the hundreds of thousands who shared my texts because they found support in them. "The Blue Dress" is a large and difficult project to implement. So we decided that on November 21 in Lviv we will do it for the last time during the great war. I will be happy to see and hug everyone who loved this format."
