DREVO is the stage name of Maksym Derevyanchuk, an artist from the city of Varash. The lack of academic education did not become an obstacle for the talented musician: on the contrary, the sincerity and emotional openness of his songs quickly found their listener. In 2024, the artist became a finalist in the National Selection for Eurovision with the track Endless Chain, taking ninth place.

Even before the release of “Emerald Sky”, DREVO had formed his own style thanks to songs that became one hundred percent hits and confidently established the name of the performer in modern Ukrainian music:

• “Samolitom” – a composition that brought the singer his first large-scale recognition;
• “Lastivka” – a penetrating lyrical story with an atmospheric sound;
• “De by de by” – an energetic track that conquered streaming and significantly expanded the artist’s audience.

On May 23, 2025, DREVO presented the single “Emerald Sky”, and in just a few days the track was recognized as a real breakthrough. The song topped the Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, Shazam and YouTube Music charts. And on TikTok, over a hundred thousand videos were created to the original sound of the composition.

An important page in DREVO's career was also the collaboration with Oleksandr Usyk. Its result was the joint song "Terpy, Kozak". The composition is based on a poem by the Ukrainian champion, revealing the strength of spirit, endurance and character that are so clearly felt in our culture.
