ATLAS: one of the main symbols of the capital's concert life
ATLAS is an atmospheric venue in the heart of Kyiv, located at 37-41 Sichovykh Striltsiv St. Special energy, modern light and sound, planning with an emphasis on the comfort of visitors and a professional team that is passionate about their work have become components of the institution's popularity among both guests and stars of the stage.
Features of the location and capacity of the club
The grand opening of the new center of the capital's cultural life took place in 2014. ATLAS appeared on the site of the former Yunist club. However, it did not become a reincarnation - instead, it offered Kyiv residents and guests of the city a completely new level of recreation. The area of 1200 m2 includes:
- a large hall - a dance floor, 2 bars, 300 seats, a light installation, an LED screen;
- a two-tier balcony - 160 seats, 40 tables, a bar and a DJ place;
- Barbara Bar - 80 seats, a bar and a DJ place;
- Roof - a fan zone for 1500 people, 160 seats.
Additional comfort for guests is provided by 2 cloakrooms, a lounge area, and a smoking area.
What events take place at the ATLAS club in Kyiv
The multifunctional modern venue has a busy schedule and offers a wide range of events for every taste and on various topics. ATLAS hosts:
- music concerts (acoustics, rock, pop, indie, electronics, jazz, alternative);
- theater performances (among the long-time friends of the institution is the popular Kyiv theater "Black Square");
- dance parties with charismatic DJs;
- conferences, presentations and other bright events.
The club's creative protégé is the most famous music festival in Ukraine and Europe, Atlas Weekend (today - Atlas Festival). The club and the festival have a common DNA - one team of organizers and a single philosophy of developing Ukrainian music.
In different years, Boombox, The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, The Hardkiss, ONUKA, Artem Pyvovarov, DOROFEEVA, Placebo, Nothing But Thieves and many other stars of world and Ukrainian music have performed on the Atlas stage.
