Flambè – a dance performance about the fire of passion, choice and the taste of life
Inspired by Jorge Amadou's novel "Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands", the play has no libretto - each viewer will experience it in their own way. It is a vivid, erotic-ironic work with elements of realism, humor and mysticism, which explores female desire and the balance between passion and stability.
This is not a retelling of a book or a classical production. It is an emotional journey through dance.
The choreography of the performance was created by leading Ukrainian choreographers - Kostyantyn Hordienko, Oleksiy Bazela, Nazar Didyk, Igor Kuleshyn and Serhiy Shuliko (tangeros).
Known for their bold ideas, they give emotional depth to their movements, making each scene a true dance masterpiece.
