Flambè in Kyiv
Flambè is a physical theater performance in which passion ignites as suddenly and dangerously as wildfire. Inspired by Jorge Amado’s novel «Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands», the production abandons a traditional libretto and leaves room for each viewer’s personal experience. There are no ready-made answers or single interpretations here — only powerful emotions, expressive movement, and an inner impulse that cannot be restrained. The choreography was created by leading Ukrainian artists known for their bold stage language and ability to transform dance into a living emotional expression. The creative team includes:
- director and creator Olena Koliadenko;
- set designer and costume designer Dariia Bila;
- choreographers Kostiantyn Hordiienko, Oleksii Bazela, Nazar Didyk, Ihor Kuleshyn, Serhii Shuliko (tanguero);
- music editor and author of the musical design Dmytro Kadnai.

The nearest metro station is "Maidan Nezalezhnosti". From the station, you need to walk up the Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred for about 10 minutes.
🛡 Shelter
If the air raid siren sounds before the start, visitors must vacate the theater, administrators direct the audience to the nearest shelter (station m. Independence Square ). If the alarm did not last, then after its end, the performance will begin in 20 minutes. If the alarm is in the middle of the event - the show stops, the theater staff takes the audience out of the theater building - next to the theater is the metro station " Maidan Nezalezhnosti ", if the alarm is short (up to 40 minutes) the show can be continued after the alarm ends.
