She loved... She loved with all her girlish heart... She loved so much that she forgot her mother and father and everything around her. And it didn't matter what people would say! Only him, only Ivan... And what, what about a Muscovite? Katrusia's love has no barriers or boundaries! And she bore him, became a cover, covered herself and her child with shame, because Ivan went to war and forgot about her... He renounced both Katrusia and the child... And married another. Dark waters covered the fate of the unfortunate woman, and the child... Oh, child, what will happen to you in that terrible world... You were born to bastards, you will die an orphan...

An immortal drama based on Taras Shevchenko's poem "Katerina" staged by Ukraine Modern Theatre. Another premiere of the theatre's performance based on classic Ukrainian literary works. We are waiting for our audience!
