A ritual performance about the lust for life
Based on the play by Matej Vishnek
Director: Yevhen Shcherban
What does a person do when the world around them is collapsing?
Packs a suitcase. Sweeps crumbs from the cracks in the floor. Listens to the water dripping from the faucet. Holds to the little rules of the house because they are the only thing that remains intact.
Three homes, three women: mother, daughter, wife. Each loves and waits. The same Messenger comes to each with flowers and news. And a horse walks outside the window.
Closeness. Memory. The absurdity that distorts reality in a mirror. In a world where madness becomes the norm, normal logic is powerless. What remains is ritual, laughter, and those who are nearby.
What must be done to maintain the fragility of existence? This performance seeks the answer together with the audience.
