A woman and a man are two completely different worlds. Many artists have written about this. In the work of the world-famous Italian playwright Aldo Nicolai, whose plays are always contemporary, these two creatures are deeply lonely, too egocentric, and the love between them, paradoxically, has the character of war.
The ironic comedy "Love to the Death" in Kyiv will take place on March 7 and March 8, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the International Center for Contemporary Art (October Palace), Chamber Stage, 4th entrance, 3rd floor.

The Luhansk Regional Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater presents the play “Love to the End” in the genre of ironic comedy with a black flavor based on the play by Aldo Nicolai. The following took part in the creation of the production:

Nothing foretold that beautiful summer day when Bruno went to the beach to relax from his problems. On the same day, Eva came to the beach - a young, charming woman who craves attention and love... From this moment on, a dizzying and unpredictable story begins.
Bruno, having met Eva, finds himself involved in seemingly impossible events from the point of view of common sense. His life in a short time makes a lot of sharp turns, stopping at extreme points: traumatology, prison, a mental hospital, the embrace of his beloved.
Mario is Eva's husband. He realized long ago that if she loves, then to the... grave, choking, frantically, with a firmly established tenet: the life of her beloved belongs only to her.
Eva tries to persuade Bruno to kill her husband, because Mario should belong to no one but her. Emotions run high, the heart greedily lives according to the laws of the ego, it seems that tragedy cannot be avoided... What fate awaits Bruno? Will the men be able to play the game in their favor?
Even a person with the richest imagination will not be able to imagine all the plot twists and the absolutely incredible ending of this funny semi-criminal story, which once again reminds us that love is not a war, not a struggle for leadership in a relationship, love is... Each of the viewers, who will experience a lot of contradictory feelings, should once again think about this eternal and seemingly simple question.
