The performance "You're Not Enough for Me" in Kyiv

The Luhansk Regional Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater presents a musical and poetic performance based on the poetry of "Bu-Ba-Bu" and authors close to the movement.

"I Don't Need You" is a musical and poetic performance about Ukrainian poetry of the 80s and 90s, which grew out of kitchen gatherings, arguments, love affairs, and crazy wordplay. Our story is not about sadness, but about life against all odds, about freedom that defies rules, and about words that always want to break free.
The stage will feature texts by poets of several generations: Mykola Kholodny, Yuriy Andrukhovych, Oleksandr Irvanets, Viktor Neborak, Ivan Malkovych, Yurko Pozayak, Vikhta Sadu, Halyna Petrosaniak, and Serhiy Zhadan. Different voices and characters will merge into one adventure, where laughter and irony become a way of survival, and poetry – movement, noise, and drive.

The duration of the performance is 70 minutes.
