Research exhibition "BEE" | Lutsk | Sunday, March 22, 6:00 PM | "Anghar", 9 Zaliznychna St.
The Garmyder Theater presents the research play "PCHILKA" - an intimate stage conversation about Olena Pchilka (Olga Kosach), a woman who stood at the origins of modern Ukrainian culture.
Olena Pchilka was not only Lesya Ukrainka's mother. She was a writer, editor, publisher, folk art researcher, and a person who consistently defended the Ukrainian language and culture at a time when it was prohibited by imperial laws.
This performance is an attempt to see Olena Pchilka not through school formulas, but as a living person with her doubts, vulnerability, internal conflicts, and choices.
At the same time, it is a frank conversation about the courage to be yourself, about the right to your own voice, and about the price you have to pay when you choose Ukrainian — despite pressure and prohibitions.
"THE BEE" is not a biographical account of the stage, but an emotional study of a woman who created, loved, lost, and found the strength to rise again.
Event: exhibition-research "THE BEE"
Date: March 22, Sunday
Start: 18:00
Location: Lutsk, art space "Angar", 9 Zaliznychna St.
