"The End of the Shift" is a plastic-choreographic performance without a single word. About how we imperceptibly become similar to everyone around us - and don't notice the moment when it happens.

There are fourteen on stage. Water, a rocker, droppers, sticks. At first, everyone moves together, like one organism. The one who brings the water arrives. Everyone drinks. And gradually every movement becomes the same. One does not drink - and they begin to break him with rhythm, noise, pressure from the majority, until resistance turns into consent.

There are no dialogues and no complex meanings that need to be “decoded.” Everything is conveyed through movement, rhythm, and breathing—directly, through the body. The breathing of the fourteen becomes common, in the silence you can hear the dripping of water, and at some point you catch yourself realizing that your body has already picked up someone else’s rhythm. This is a feeling that cannot be described—it must be experienced in the hall.

Fourteen performers on one stage is a rarity for the Ukrainian independent scene. That's how many people create the effect of a live crowd that only works live, not on screen.

And since the performance is wordless, it is understandable to everyone — those who love theater, those who are going for the first time, and audiences who are deaf. Nothing is required here except attention.

Change doesn't come by force. It comes by thirst.
