Maurizio Bignone: re:Verse
Renowned Italian composer and pianist Maurizio Bignone announces his long-awaited return to Ukraine with a new, intimate artistic and humanitarian project "re:Verse" — Piano Solo .
After the extraordinary success of the previous Inner Reflections tour – during which the Maestro, overcoming the numerous difficulties of the conflict, gave Ukrainians 12 unforgettable solo concerts in direct support of the population – he strengthens his deep connection with the country, returning to the stage the absolute acoustic purity of the piano.
In this new creative chapter, Maurizio Bignone frees the music from any unnecessary layers to give birth to a naked, magnetic and deeply empathetic dialogue with the listeners. The Piano Solo format best emphasizes his unique neoclassical sensibility: it is a special narrative, capable of growing fragile melodies from the deepest silence, and then exploding with powerful rhythmic structures and hypnotic minimalism, in which the piano reveals the full power of its orchestral soul.
The deep meaning of the name "re:Verse"
The name chosen by the Maestro embodies three important and poetic meanings:
re:Verse: Each composition is conceived as poetry without words. Notes replace verses to tell heartfelt, intimate and universal stories that can touch any heart.
Reverse: A journey in reverse—to the original purity of sound and the truest human emotions, free from any protection or convention.
Changing Course (Inversione di rotta): Music as an Act of Cultural Resistance. A Powerful Instrument Capable of Transforming the Pain, Confusion, and Wounds of Today into Hope, Light, and Rebirth.
