The mountain region is an amazing, incomprehensible world. And the Hutsuls are a special people, a tribe, in which their own laws reign, who feel the surrounding world in a special way... The spirit of their ancestors is in them, in the depths of their souls. One only needs to feel this primordial unity... After all, we are all a continuation of our ancestors. We atone for their sins. This musical and plastic performance with a multitude of metaphorical scenes, symbolic images speaks of the authenticity and heredity of generations, of the historical origins of the people. At the center of the stage narrative, of course, is the love story of Ivan and Marichka... Piercingly tragic. Fatal, in which love and enmity of the human race are combined.

Український театр в Одесі: історія та розташування
Одеський академічний український музично-драматичний театр ім. В. С. Василька – це відображення цілої епохи в культурному житті Одеси. Будівля є пам'яткою культурної спадщини України (раніше – Театр Сибірякова). Театр знаходиться за адресою вул. Пастера, 15.
Директоркою та художньою керівницею закладу є Юлія Пивоварова.
Місткість та структура театру
Глядацька зала з якісною акустикою і зручним розташуванням місць розрахована на 1000 осіб. Крім основної сцени, є експериментальні сценічні майданчики («Глядач на сцені» і «Сцена 38»). Репертуар Українського театру складають понад 25 вистав. У них грають прекрасні актори, багато з яких мають титул народного та заслуженого артиста України.

На сцені ставляться класичні та сучасні роботи вітчизняних і зарубіжних авторів. Крім вистав, у стінах театру відбуваються:
